Salon 16

Salon 16 is a fortnightly reading/writing group which will focus on queer theory, literature, film and art. It will help embolden young people and support them and their growth as participants in the city’s vibrant art scene. This program of discussion and creative output is aimed at young creatives interested in Queer Identity and expression. The programme will encourage participants to engage with and respond to the materials provided through discussion, writing and drawing. Along with promoting their creative output, we will also be including them in future programming discussions to organise a film screening and performance night curated by the group.

Transport grants are avalible for students or people on low/no income and refreshments, drawing and writing materials will be provided for free!

Salon 16 is intended for people aged 18-25.
